Hi,
I just bought some nice 18" OEM wheels (from an 09' Lexus sports pkg) for my 2010 is250. The seller painted them black w/ some spray paint (looks ok from 3'-5'). There is a drip here and there and I'm not sold on black yet either. I'm wondering if I can somehow remove the black paint from these wheels so it goes back to OEM color. Can I use paint remover w/out damaging the wheels? Advise please.
Any photos of 09' OEM wheels as well would be nice.
Thanks in advance.

you can use paint remover but depending on how thick the coating is will determine how much work it will take. If you have the money I suggest getting it sand blasted and have it repainted.
If it is really thick which probably will be you may end up ruining the clear coat and the paint eventually.

I'd start with mineral spirits. That won't do much to well cured paint, but it should get newer stuff. Do you know how long ago they were sprayed?
Because if you make some headway with the mineral spirits, you could try langka blob eliminator if there are a few tough remaining spots. If they were sprayed a month or more ago, neither of those may work.
