18" wheels - feel everything on the road
Hi,
I just swapped my oem 17" wheels (225/45/17 - 245/45/17) on my is250 to a set of oem 18" wheels (225/40/18 & 255/40/18). The difference is road nice and you feel a lot more of the road. I assume this is normal....which I don't like or have not gotten use to. Car seems to bounce a tad as well.
Is this the norm? Not much I can do besides swapping back right?
Thanks in advance.

unfortunately that's how the OEM 18s are because there's less sidewall to absorb the bumps in the road. I was thinking of getting some Vossen CV3 or CV5s for my car, but the tire size would be somewhere around xxx/35/20. I'd be feeling all sorts of road bumps with those tire sizes lol
