IS250 shivering issue

On some occasions, i startup my car to move it to the shade about 100 yards or so away so it cools down for a wash. But sometimes after i've finished and startup my car, it kind of shivers but the revs are steady. It's quite a strong shiver as if its got the flue. It's happened twice in 3 months and always seems to be after i've started up the car to drive it a very short distance, about 100 yards or so. Just wondering if starting and driving the car for that short distance can cause anything like a shiver when starting the car back up? maybe something about fuel not being burnt?

I think what you are referring to is the carbon build up. Most 250 owners have this problem.

I mean the car feels like its vibrating in a strange way. I dont think its the carbon buildup issue because carbon buildup one causes revs to fluctuate my rev stays the same. And only seems to happen on odd occasions when i startup my car after having driven it for a minute or so and let it sit for a while.

I had the same thing in my IS350. I stopped turning the car on cold then moving the car a few feet then turning it off. The next time (could even be days later) the car would shake and run ruff for 3 seconds. It has also thrown two codes in my car. One of them was a misfire in one cylinder. The only way to avoid this is to let the car warm up for a min of 20 seconds until the RPMs drop from a cold start up.
