hi people!

did a search, also seen a few pics on other members rides, but what color for front upper grille surround and front / rear emblem looks best on an obsidian IS?

debating between black chrome and satin black and bronze chrome. i think gloss black would be too close to oem black and not give enough contrast. what do you think?

Black chrome with a black pearl badge would look best to me. I had mine gloss black which looks good but blended in too much. Going back to chrome but not black chrome because I just don't want to deal with rock chips and stuff since I go 60 miles a day.

But black chrome with matching emblems would look nice.

Or you could just do the grille surround in black chrome and as well as the "Lexus" and "ISx50" in the rear and leave the front and rear "L" emblems untouched.

do rock chips chip black chrome easily?
i think i want front and rear L emblem and badge to be same color, looks cleaner that way. still not sure how to do it tho ..
that actually looks really nice !! but.. blue is not really my theme

so far i am leaning toward gloss black surround, and light black chrome L emblem and badge so the emblems don't blend into obsidian paint too much. i think oem black pearl is too dark to stand out
