Question What's a fair price for this 2011 F-sport ?

Hi I'm a new member. Well I signed up as a member about 2 months because I know I will be owning a Lexus IS soon...well hopefully.
I've been searching for the last 2 months on the perfect IS within 150 miles of where I live and it has been so hard to find that perfect one. It's has to be 2011, SFP color, Nav., all black inteior and DRL LED, no accident. So needless to say to get all that combination together I only seen 2 available for sale in the last 2 months.
Anyway I finally found one about an hour of where I live. But I think they are asking way too much.
It's a 2011 F-Sport, 20,500 miles, NAV., DRL LED, clean Carfax. They're asking $30,500
I offered $25,500 just to get the ball rolling. But the only respond I got from them is my offer is too low. Not even a counter offer ? I really want the car but I don't want to overpay for it neither.
So what do you guys think is a fair price for this car ? Thank You for any help I can get. I'm dying to get into a Lexus.

Have you tried to compare that price to Kelly Blue Book? Private sale and dealer will also make a price difference.

Yes I have. For the same car . NADA has it as one price($26K). KBB has a different price($31K). And If I look at all 2012 car for sale the price is all over the place. From $26K to $33K. I know some have Nav. and some don't. But the price is all over the place. Out of 65 for sale in my area not one is Private Seller.

KBB is actually close to real pricing they are now owned by Autotrader. NADA is good to compare too. A lot of factors come into play here like sales tax, dealer fees and license and registration.

I got my car out the door for $39k 2012 is250 f-sport with only 10k miles back in March and Im in CALI.

You will not get a 2011 f-sport is250 with only 20K for anywhere close to $26k out the door because that is the going price of the base is250 around 2009 or less with around or more than 30K miles. Again it all depends on what other fees they will charge you. But ya at $25500 they probably just chuckled and said no.

Edmunds has some AWESOME pricing models (as far as the consumer is concerned), but the dealership would likely rather eat poo than give those numbers consideration.

KBB is the highest.
Nada is middle ground.
Edmunds TMV is low-ball.

Always try to shoot for Edmunds, lol, but don't be upset if you end up getting Nada.

Yeah nobody will sell you that car for 25...their asking price of 30 seems about right..Lexus hold their resale value really well. This is a 250 right?

Yes it's a 250. $25,500 was my starting point. I didn't expect them to sale it for that price I was willing to goes up to $27K + Tax + tag.
