Hello everyone,

I just signed up for the CL forum and have been a big fan of the 2nd gen IS. Currently I have an 03 Acura TL Type S. Next year I will be buying an IS250 or 350. I have driven the 250 couple of times and test drove a 2012 350 AWD at a local dealership. Now I love both models but what is everyone's opinion on both. I am turning 20 years old in a few months and was wondering what I should consider getting. Thank you to all

All depends on your need for power. If you have to have it, get the 350. Otherwise, save the extra payment,insurance, and gas money and cruise around in a 250.

Just be sure about the power. I thought the 250 was enough, then 3 months later traded up for a 350. I lost a few grand in that deal

I like the 350 a lot because of the power and response it has in the throttle. I still have time before I get either one. My mom owns an 07 GS350 and it's fun to drive to be honest. Hers is AWD tho so that's a difference. RWD is fun since I had an IS300. I would have to drive both before buying. But if anything a 250 doesn't hurt me at all. It has to have navigation for sure no questions asked

I came from a 04 TL, into a IS250 AWD. I loved my TL, but I think I might like the IS250 more, however I do miss the power of the TL every once and a while. If power/speed is your thing get the 350 like everyone said, but my 250 works for me and I enjoy it thoroughly.

I don't have the money yet lol. I would like to mod a car from scratch. I still gotta see what my financial status is. I still gotta sell a few things to get more cash. I plan on getting an IS in spring 2014
