Vinyl typically peels off and leaves very little residue behind (unless it has been on there forever). Either way, I would start by heating up the surface slightly and then slowly start to peel from one edge.

If you see that there is excessive residue left over, an adhesive remover such as 3M Adhesive Remover would do the trick.

^^ Yup, I rewarpped my cup holder because I realized I put the CF in the wrong direction, oops! came off pretty easy with a little heat.

It really depends on the quality of vinyl you initially used. I just had to wrap a customers trunk and removing his old CF vinyl was a nightmare. So much freakin glue residue!

Where in SoCal are you? I can help you wrap it if you like. I've done a lot of other member's trim pieces.

The vinyl should just peel off. If there is any residue, clean it up with some goo gone
