Clay bar + rain =?

Clay bar + rain =?
Is it a good idea to wash then claybar my car in the rain? Havent had the time but right now im off due to rain and wanted to do something productive! Would it make it easyer? And better? Anyway what do you guys think??

Well first off why would you wash your car when it is going to rain? Your just wasting time and energy that could be more productive on something else.
Second if u are going through with it, as for claybaring I dont see why it would hurt. The rain would make it easier since u need a soapy solution to evenly clay bar your car. Just add soap or meguirs or mothers car wash.

Like others have said, you need soapy water or clay lube, something more than water to give it some lubrication when you're claying. Do spot checks around the car with a lunch bag after you wash it and feel for rough spots. If there aren't any you wouldn't need to clay yet

Rain + claybar = WIN
Pretty happy with result had some oversparay after getting it repainted after acidsnt now its super smoth again!!!! Used mothers clay bar with the spray came out great
