Need Help Blacking Out Headlight Housing !
I am planning on blacking out my headlight housing and I've been looking at a couple DIY on here but none of seem to tell me what paint too use ? I was wondering if anyone who has blacked out their headlight housing can tell what paint and what brand of paint to use ? Thanks for any help in advance !

yeah use the High Temp Paint
just a friendly advice...please, please take your time. Do it once and do it right! It will take more time trying to fix your errors than being patient and doing it right the first time. (no shortcuts)

I usually use a Krylon flat black. You can get the high temp if you want but I haven't had any issues with the standard paint.
I prep it properly by masking the chrome parts, then lightly scuffing the chrome with scotch brite to get the primer to stick. Clean with alcohol and a lint free cloth to remove any oil on the surface. Then spray a coat or 2 of primer. Then 2-3 coats of the flat black. Maybe an extra coat for insurance depending on how the finish looks.
Just be sure that you get complete coverage before you remove the tape and put it all together. Nothing worse than seeing an unpainted section when everything is back together.
Good luck! And like Kinetics said, take your time.
