i just received letter from Lexus about they will extended 9 years powertrain warranty to engine from 2006 to 2010 is 250. The thing when i purchase my car new.i also buy the extended warranty 7 years or 100.000 whichever come first so that mean i can get my money back from extended warranty i bought?

 

Depends if the coverage you purchased covers more. Example: Do both policies cover if the AC breaks down? What if your radio goes bad? In either event, you can likely cancel the extra policy you got and at least get a prorated refund.

 

yeah it depend some just cover the engine and some cover the whole car like noise in the car from the dash or something

 

Is the 9 yr powertrain extension for everything, or just carbon build up related issues?

 

That's just for the powertrain related to the carbon buildup

 

its just for carbon build up.i dont think lexus will give me money back.
