Hey guys, first post here, I own a Starfire Pearl 2008 2nd gen IS 300 and I live somewhere in South East Asia. Well I'm pretty new to car modifications, so bear with me yeah.

I bought the car in 08 with the Tom's body kit equipped and it has been untouched eversince, and now im planning on adding a new front lip (3dcarbon or GFX?) and replace the Tom's spoiler with the OEM spoiler.

Anyways, my main question is regarding the Tom's rear lip. The way it came as it is has the whole lip being painted to the color of my car. Im looking to paint it black on the middle. I was wondering if it could be vinyl wrapped or painted? which would be a better choice? if painted, what color code should i use to give it the same effect as the one on the picture below?

Plastidip, if you don't like it just peel it off

Plastidip leaves an uneven, cheap looking texture. The bottom pic looks like the owner used either gloss black paint, or vinyl wrapped it. I would get it vinyl wrapped to see if you like it, and if you do, get it painted black.

It's all in the technique, I've seen very even paint using Plastidip,
