Default Coloring parts in your engine bay?

Can you just Spray paint then clear coat Parts in the engine? If so would it get overheated? Im Very new at this.

Should be fine, I would use high temp paint for good measure. But then again I've also seen ppl use plastidip and apparently it held up fine

i painted my engine bay many times but i do notice the bubble only occur if you slacking on the prep. but overall it help up fine =)

x2 on prep and using real paint materials. Use high heat products if available, I know they make a high heat clear as well.

Engine covers are ok to use normal paint... if plastidip was used on engine cover plastic, that would be fine. They don't get hot enough to melt the plastic so you are ok.

If it's the valve cover or other engine components, go with high temp clear coat and paint.
