Default Poor car can't catch a break.

Hello CL,

Was replacing all four rotors and pads on my '07 IS250 AWD and found out both rear calipers are completely seized. I tried for a couple hours to get them unstuck and sliding again but no luck. Just ordered some rear calipers from RockAuto.

Needed an inspection sticker done and I was gone for the last two week for business and a friends wedding so I let my dad take it in. Got back a couple days ago to this ****ty job and a gouge in my dashboard. I'm going in this Saturday to the inspection station to give them a new one.

If you want the job done right, you got to do it yourself!

well, even if he took the car himself he wouldn't be allowed to put the sticker on himself...

Expensive lesson learned. I think the dealer quoted me about $900 to replace the dash. I'm going to pass the bill along to these bastards.

Good luck getting reimbursed for that. I think you can get an interior trim repair guy to touch that up. I've seem them repair leather, leaving no trace of damage.

Dream on, no inspection joint is going to give you $900 for a new dash. Next time take it to a reputable place where you can watch them take the old one off and put the new one on.
