Default Need help: CEL/Traction/VSC

I have a 2006 lexus is 350 and I was just driving home and my check engine light check vsc light and traction control light I'm at 148,000 and I'm readying about carbon build up having a major problem but I don't know if I'm covered for that

First off carbon build up only for the 2.5L engine 250. Second off with out getting the code scan nobody can really say what your issue. It can be something simple as a gas cap. Won't know till you find the code.

i will buy a code scanner tonight and i tighten my gas cap and light the car sit for 10 hours and on start up all three lights are there no sounds or jerking nothing out of the car idles fine and everthing i thought i smelt something burning from the rear driver tire not burning rubber either

MIL light will not reset on it's own, it will need to be cleared...get the code and we can help

Sorry for the wait it was just a catalic converter error code so I cleared it and nothing has came back

it will come back after you drive 50-100 miles... cat codes are usually O2 sensors that need to be changed

Cat needs to be de-clogged; the car needs to be flogged more often!

just went to niagra and back and around town around 400k and so far no lights or anything

Check the gas cap first....no carbon build up for 350

FYI, the factory gas cap on my '06 IS350 started not the seal well and threw the same codes you're experiencing. I purchased a new Stant gas cap from Walmart and the codes I have yet to see re-occur since then 1+ yr ago.
