'only' 4 seconds to react? That's quite a bit of time. What's it take 1/2 second max to jam on the brakes.? Crumple zones make a wreck look bad, but they do their job..absorb energy so it doesn't go to you!

Ohh, yea,i'm learning about the crumble zones. I jammed on the breaks but evidently didn't have enough time to stop.
