It was a bit sad last night handing over the keys to my IS. I bought a 2013 Tacoma to fit my change in career. Sadly I was did not have time to part out the exhaust or the rear sway bar. All I was able to get out was my Joe Z Intake (see the classified if interested - is blue metallic!).

I have really enjoyed all the support on this forum. I will miss you guys. Take care.

Tacoma is a nice truck, I was actually cross shopping a Tacoma and is350, obviously I went with the 350, but some times I wish I got the Tacoma , I have a 70lbs dog and tossing him in the lex is not a good idea.

Sad to see the exhaust go (i would have picked it up for the right price) but Im sure that owner will be on here in no time lol.

Nice I traded my 2004 supercharged Tacoma for my is350 still miss the sound of the supercharger.

 

Sorry to see your IS go but you make me happy I decided to not trade in my Tacoma when I got my IS in August. The Tacoma is actually the reason I went with Lexus when I needed a new car. The Tacoma is four years old and still perfect with zero issues to date. That is quality I never saw in years as a Nissan car owner. I am envious of those wheels on your Tacoma though, they are sharp!

 

nice tacoma, its alwasy cool to have a truck just throw stuff in the bed and go. no need for bike racks or smushing stuff in the trunk of an is lol. whatever floats your boat dude

 

Have the same Tacoma in the family.
It's fun to drive and all, but I can't stand their controls on the dash.
Also have the Prius V and it's the exact same console.
Hard to use and very confusing even after a while.

Though I have to admit, the back up camera on that thing is amazing.

 

I was also thinking of trading my 350 for a Tacoma... Im just not ready to give up the 350's power though. lol

 

You'll enjoy the Tacoma. I had one and it was great, but I did the opposite of you. I just traded in my 2011 Tacoma for a 2014 IS350.

 

Sucks u couldn't part out. Tacoma's have VERY good resale value.

 

sad to see your IS go but congrats on the new purchase... Funny thing is im actually thinking of getting a new Tacoma myself but debating if I want to get rid of the IS for it....

 

just fancy up the interior and replace the toyota logos with a lexus logo
