Do I need a pre inspection if extended warranty still on?

After going back and forth (actually my wife) between ES and IS, we settled on a IS 350 2006 87,000 miles.

The car has a Gold extended warranty to 100,000 miles. Should I still have it inspected?

You only have 13k of warranty left. Unless you can handle repairs yourself I would certainly have the car inspected.

I would suggest getting it inspected. There could be issues with the car that may not be covered by a warranty.

I wouldn;t spend money on inspection, If the previous owner had any trouble he would get them solved as he had that peace in mind and having to pay just $50 co-payment but it's up to you. I just wouldn;t do it.
