I bought the Sewell Lexus piano black console trim kit to replace the wood trim in my 2010 IS 250- didn't come with instructions and included the rubber piece in the pic below. I cannot figure out where it goes - any help would be appreciated!!

If I remember correctly, the last time I saw one of those posted it ended up being the shift lock-out "button".

Thank you Gville350! - I'll look into that. Hoping it's just a replacement for a piece that's already in there cause I closed everything up last night and the shift lock button seems to work just fine.
