Fog light HELP!
Ok so I just bought this car. The exterior, interior, and mechanically this thing is in great shape. HOWEVER one of the previous owners got way to carried away with HIDs and I have no idea what they have done. When I got the car 1 out of 4 lights (headlight and fog lights) worked. So first night I got it home I wanted to start over with everything. I took out each ballast and blub from the headlight and put regular bulbs back in. OK, no problem, worked fine.
I get to the fog lights, the passenger side harness has been cut. OK odd. No big deal, I happened to have an extra harness from upgrading my supra fog/running lights.
SO I figure I'll just wire in the harness, and throw in some Nokya yellow fog lights. Got the fog lights in today. Awesome. I put one bulb in the driver's side ( harness appears to be ok) and I get...... nothing
I check the fuse.. blown. Put another 15a fuse in, try to fogs. POP!!
WTF? Think its the other harness being cut?

Figured it out! The wires from the cut harness were touching causing it ground out and pop the fuse. Wired up the new harness, put a new fuse in (thank god for my friend that has a stock pile of Toyota fuses) and it works great now!
