Default Bad mileages in IS250 AWD and solution!!!

Hi, my IS250 2010 . when i filled out the whole tank it said my car can run for 285 miles... Is it weird? and it cost me around $54 - $56 dollar to fill it up with 93 premium gas at $3.65-$3.60 per gallon.

Does performance chip will increase the car gas and horse power? If yes, which name brand is a trusted to buy. Is it too good to be truth? Heard that we don't need

Thank you

Gas sounds about right to me. No on the performance chip.

You can mod your car for more power but in general there are no working chips on the market.

It's just that winter time where you mpg drops. When summer hit if you don't do so much city driving you should be at 370mpg+ range.

A full tank with 91 octane in California for me usually reads around 380-400 miles range on my dash computer in my 2008 IS250. I wonder why yours only shows 285 miles. Sounds very little. And there are no performance chips for our cars

Mine read 380 before carbon build-up CSP work. After the the work was done, it reads 330. But it is slowly creeping back up. The 285 seems a little low.

Dont waste your time with performance chips, our cars have not came out with one that acually works yet... If you want better gas make sure your tires are up to their correct PSI and maybe even a fuel cleaner may help (you just put in your gas tank when you have a full tank and it mixes with the gas and kinda cleans everything out). But if you want you could get an intake filter, or a whole new intake, or even a little exhaust upgrade. Hope this helps

The trip computer will recalibrate when you have driven a long distance at 55-60 and show the range based on different driving habits (it will increase the range). Maybe you have been driving hard and it is reflected in the average?

I think i have to bring it to the lexus dealer.
I have takeda intake which i installed it by myself. I already bought the HKS hi power exhaust for it also which i am not install it after the winter season over.. Other than that i don't drive that fast. normal speed is 60 - 85mph on the highway and city is around 15-25 mph.. Do i need to restart the whole system? how do i do that? or is it something wrong with my intake or the fule adjustment reader chip?

I have a problem. When i am driving normal on the highway and when to step on the gas to increase speed to pass other people. the rpm tended to stall at 5-6 meter for a few seconds then the engine can able to go to the next gear... Or i have to release on the gas pedal and step on it again for it to goes to the next gear...

You can try unplugging the negative terminal on your battery and leaving it unplugged for 5 minutes to reset the ECU. The car will learn your driving style and hopefully resolve everything. You will have to reset your windows after. Post #4 https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...isconnect.html

yeah from a complete fill up, 285 on a tank sounds very low. even my 350 is higher than that after a fill up
