Default 06 IS250 AWD Loud Clicking

06 IS250 AWD Loud Clicking
I have a 06 Lexus IS250 that has a loud clunking/clicking noise from the passenger rear side. It will come and go but as you can hear in the video it is most pronounced when the gas or brakes are applied. I have taken it to Firestone twice and Lexus. They both told me some bs about it being something else. To me it seems obvious that it could be the bearing but lexus said that the bearing had no slop in it and seemed good. Anyone ever experience this?

See video link below:

Note: Firestone told me it was my brakes that needed to be changed soon which I did and lexus told me it was a bolt in my tire and it was removed.

Are your rear sway bar end links tight to the bar AND the LCA?

I cannot honestly say. I have not been under the car. However, Lexus said they checked everything and so did Firestone. I have seen other people with this issue but cannot find the results

Did you change the rotors too while you did the brakes?

I would swap front wheels to rear to eliminate whether or not its the wheels. Then take a look at the rotors next

I have a sound sort of just like that but only when I hit the brakes and it comes from the front drivers side. I got that sound when I replaced my rotors and pads. At first I thought I was getting the sound because I had drilled and slotted rotors, so I replaced with OEM rotors and pads and the sound disappeared for a day or two, and it's back. Now I don't know what to do. Anybody have any ideas what to do.

I also did change the rotors as well. It is weird that it will come and go and get louder then almost disappear

So Lexus just called me and said it was a piece of asphalt that was stuck between my rotor and dust shield. I am a little skeptical but the tech said that he was confidant that it was the case. Just very odd that this part of asphalt was still there for close to 500 miles.

^I'm sure it could happen. I got a small rock stuck in between my brake pad and rotor once. Lucky once I put it into reverse, it popped out. But before then, it was a LOUD scraping noise and I could swear my brake pad broke or something.

My sound is a bit different, it sounds as if there is something stuck somewhere, and I can only hear it when braking. I will be looking at it sometime soon.

I had the same issue however it was due to a worn out and loose cv axle on the passenger rear side. A piece of asphalt is way better than replacing the cv axle. Used for an awd is hard to find and brand new is close to 1k.

this happened to me today, scared the hell out of me. was a loud metal screeching sound, thought something was up with my brakes or rotors. don't understand how a pebble, rock, or asphalt can get stuck in there. lucky to have aftermarket rims so that i can fit my hand through it. used a house key to get it out. guess it could've been worse...
