Default Wiper Size Recommendation

Has anyone gone to a size lower than OEM?

I noticed in this brisk weather my wipers don't even touch the window at times.

I have not tried this on an IS but maybe something an inch or two shorter will work. By the way, i strongly recommend that you keep the original wiper arms for use during the warmer seasons. The OEM inserts are only $15 max for the pairs and they are the best and cheaper wipers for our cars (except for snow of course)

I wasnt going to change the arm itself, just wiper length.

I dont know if i have the factory blade on the car. What do they look like?

Passenger side = 20" Driver side = 22"
You can try to fit a different size, but I think that the OEM sizes are ok.
I just got Piaa’s wipers because the Boshs that I had are coming apart after this nasty winter.

I didnt mean to say change the wiper arms but the wiper blade assemblies. Go to Sewell Lexus websites. They have pretty good pictures and descriptions. The wiper blade assy is about $30s something the insert is only $7s.

I'd rather not have the blades hitting the side moldings...so I stick with OEM wiper inserts.

Default 1"

I am going 1 inch less on each side as a trial. less wiper, less surface area, less missed due to window contour
