How's everyone doing? I feel as if this is a silly question, but one of my lights on my 07 IS250 had went out so I ordered a new set. I pulled out the light bulb from my car and had no clue what to do.


The one currently in my car right now (burnt) looks like this.



It has the plastic attachment thing at the bottom.



The ones I ordered looks like this..



lol.

Did I order the wrong part or can I still install them? Thanks guys.

You ordered the wrong part. You dont have HIDs, you have halogen bulbs. The ones you ordered is HID bulbs.

unfortunately, Serifiyah is correct. Return the HID bulbs if u can and purchase quality halogen replacements from a reputable brand such as Philips or one of your choosing.

I really appreciate the input you guys. I will probably just keep the bulbs and get an HID kit. Thanks again

^That might not work as most HIDs kits (aftermarket) do not use D4S bulbs like the one you bought

Roger. GiantsFan is correct. An aftermarket HID kit would work if you bought it with the corresponding bulb base that your halogen headlights came in. I highly recommend Morimoto 3five kits but, we also have some quality vendors here on CL. Good luck.
