While i wait for my is250 to have the pistons replaced, i figured i'd see how many people have been happy with the peformance of their car since the TSB was performed, and how many are dissatisfied? I know the TSB doesnt really fix the problem, just curious as to peoples experiences since the work was done. Tom

 

I had the TSB done on my 06' 250 when it ran tough once. I also brought in my own Mobil 1 motor oil and oem spark plugs from Sewell installed at 61K miles. It ran just fine till I sold the car with 66K miles.

 

I had mine done too and no issues yet. Only gone < 2000 miles since but I had spark plugs and water pump done while it was in there so it couldn't be running better. I have like 113k now. Still runs amazingly.

 

Good to hear! i just picked my car today, so far so good. I read on some other threads people having some problems with MPG, power and/or noises after the TSB. But it seems like most people having no issues.

 

I've been going strong for 14,000 miles without issues.
