Will an iPhone 5S bluetooth connect to 2006 IS350?
I just got my first new phone since getting my 2006 IS350, new (yeah, I know, guys). So, will my new iPhone 5S connect to that old bluetooth in my car? Anyone actually done it? I haven't tried, yet, since the only instructions I have are for my old phone.

Oh, that's just great!
Step one is to go to "Settings" on the nav screen. Now, I discover that my screen does nothing when I push on one of the icons. The only thing that works by touch is to move the pointer on the nav map, and it moves in only one direction, no matter where I touch it.
What a bummer!

It's as easy as pie. You go to the phone settings, select bluetooth, select to pair/register a phone; at the same time, go to the bluetooth settings on your iPhone. The car will tell you "Enter 1111"; the phone will prompt you to enter the code. once you enter the code, you should be paired. I'd also delete your old phone from the registered phones.

Ahemmm! Y'all didn't read far enough; MY NAV IS KAPUT! I can't get to settings. I read the thread(s) about how to fix the nav screen, but I'm not inclined to do that myself, nor am I willing to pay 2500 bucks for it. So, for now, no nav, no bluetooth.
