HELP!! Replace Rear Bumper!
Hi! I'm new here, so I'm not sure if I'm posting in the correct place.... heres the deal.......
I just recently bought a CPO 2010 Lexus IS250! (yay me!) BUT I drove it to Big Bear this weekend and we had to put chains on my back tires. Some how the chains messed up part of the bumper that is beside the tire..a plastic piece that is attached to a black cloth- like material also broke off. I'm not sure if I'm explaining myself correctly. Its the edge around the tires, which is part of the bumper that got broken off. i dont know how it happened
The rims to the tires are also scratched because of the snow and chains. Does anyone know if i'm going to have to replace the entire rear bumper. Someone help me!!

Its a bit late now but if you have 18 inch rims they advise you not to put chains on the car. Take a quick look in the manual or at lexus.com to at least get some basics about the car so hopefully you can avoid this sort of thing
At a guess a shop should be able to repair this for you, but if you really do need a new bumper you should be able to order one from sewell lexus (http://is.sewellparts.com/accessorie...2010/4910.html)
Just make sure you log into the website and use your forum name in the signup details, they give us a decent discount.
Good luck!

If you deem it necessary to replace the bumper and wheel liner due to damage, that's up to you. Do you need to replace them, I'd probably not unless the wheel liner starts to fail down onto the rear tire/wheel itself.
