Default How do you tap into light wires?

2006 Lexus IS250, RWD

I would like to install this LED strip light.

I've never really done any mods before, so I have no clue on how to do this, but all the reviews and instructions say it's very simple.

How do you tap into these wires (turn signal positive, accessory positive (not DRL, as I intend to turn my DRL off once I install these), and ground)? I searched, and I can't seem to find anything...

Is it just cutting the wire sleeve (how to know which wire?), soldering on the wire, and using electrical tape?

Or should I just take it to a stereo shop and have them install it...

Oh. It's much simpler than I thought lol. I thought I would have to sleeve it, solder it, weatherproof it, and all that crap... haha thanks!

So next question: How do I know which wire is what? I looked for wiring diagrams, but couldn't find anything...

use a multimeter to figure out which wire does what

make sure you buy the correct wire taps for different gauge wires if you go that route

Where can I stick the multimeter, since the wire is solid? And how do I know the gauge size of the wire? Is it printed on the wire itself (I know some do that), or do I need a tool to measure it?

I'm a complete noob at this, if you haven't noticed...

Haven't bought it yet. I'm trying to figure out how to wire this before I buy it, so I can do it.

Seems like the steps are pretty simple:
1) Slide the wire in between the crevice of the headlight and bumper, then slide the LED lights in.
2) Push down/up (depending on how it's mounted exactly), to stick it on there.
3) Wire three wires with a wire tap such that:
a) One connects to accessory/"always on when engine on" (parking light, maybe?).
b) One connects to the signal light.
c) One connects to ground/metal part on the body.
I just need to find those two wires.
