Default Streaming Audio via BT - Stock '12

Hey All,

I have a 2012 IS250 with Nav. I know you can stream audio via bluetooth but when i connect my phone the bluetooth "button" on the nav screen remains grayed out. Is there an additional step i need to do in order to connect for audio?

I am sure it says something somewhere in the owners manual but I am lazy and want answers by the time I leave work

Press "set up" button and connect your phone to bluetooth (what you already did) and then inside "set up", you will also see "audio" or "bluetooth" i forgot and play around with that and add your phone as a player. I believe you can add only 2 phones max for audio streaming. Anyways, play around with the "set up".

Thanks - I'll take a look when I leave work tonight. I have been lazy investigating this and have been using that stupid AUX jack.

Is the sound quality just as good as using the AUX jack?

It is excellent just like AUX jack. It all depends on your MP3 or original source music file quality.
