Spend the time to do it right the first time so you don't face unforeseen circumstances in the future.
OP I would just remove the entire spoiler and redo the install with new 3m tape. There is no real short cut to this process. I know some members have tried to use a different type of tape like loctite but the results have varied.
Also I would do it right away. Depending on where you live, I wouldn't want the left side not sticking to the rear glass to be an open invitation for thieves to steal the spoiler.

No, definitely not hard at all, scraping out the old tape that's what I hate. It's messy because you have to use goo gone in order to remove it thoroughly and be carefully not to scratch it while doing it. I don't know why but the side of the 3M double-sided tape that sticks to the spoiler holds pretty good but the side that sticks to the rear window glass always tends to become loose after a while.
