I traveled 350 miles for my IS350 and searched for 2 months. I even had a money taken out one time waiting for the weekend to drive out of state and they sold it from under me. They're out there but every time you add a "requirement" your search goes down significantly. You can always buy a one way flight to many places and dealerships will even pick you up.

Not trying to be a jerk but if you don't have the "money" to drive a few hundred miles and spend 200-300 on gas and that's what is going to break you. Maybe you should look into a cheaper vehicle.

I drove 20 hours round trip for mine. Dealership wanted around 1k for transfer fees and I had already grown to despise the dealers in my few dealings with them. Same car would have sold for 2k more in my region, so I saved either way WHILE getting the car I wanted. The cherry on top is it was a Texas car and therefore had little to no corrosion.

I advise against NAVI. Especially used with no warranty. One thing that is likely to break on you and they aren't cheap. You are going to hate your life if you have to drive around with a broken "new to you" car while you get the money together to replace the NAVI.

I wonder how many people have sold their cars to others on these boards?

I'd think there would be a bit of inherent goodwill between fellow CL members...

Thanks everyone, I'm going to go test drive the gray one mentioned on the first page, do you guys think 60k miles is alot? Looks clean and from carfax looks like all service including oil changes have been done at a Lexus dealer.

60k is nothing lol. I bought my 2007 at 96k and still runs great. I would do it.

Like others, it took patience on my part; roughly 6 months waiting for the right one to come along.

Just a little update :
Went to see the gray is350 mentioned on first page, basically very clean inside and out, 60k miles 2007, all service done at Lexus dealer, one owner. So they lowered the price by only $1000, they were asking $19,900. Total out the door I would be looking at $21,198. Here's the thing, the car was traded in and it was traded in with snow tires on it, blizzaks. So they are only selling it with those tires. So since it's almost spring I woukd have to get all seasons now as well. I got a quote of around $800 for a set of 4 all season at juat tires for 17inch, but I'm pretty sure the 350 comes with 18 inch, so it will be closer to $1000 for all seasons..

So if i do decide I will go pick it up next weekend if I do decide, there is a lexus dealer right down the street from that dealer and they ssid I can take it there no problem for inspection. I really wanna do it, so far I think it's pretty good deal considering this is the only dealer that came off the price at least a little... Any thoughts guys, suggestions?

Why do you want all season tires? Keep the blizzaks if they are still good and just get sport tires and switch during winter. All season tires are the best at being mediocre in everything. Your traction control might light up like a Christmas tree with many all season tires in corners or if you put a bit too much throttle..

But wouldn't sport or summer tires cost more than all seasons? Also don't get me wrong, I will be keeping the blizzaks to use in winter but I thought for spring summer and fall I woukd use all seasons..

1000? for some tires on a car? I got a set of BFGoods off tire rack for like 470 shipped for summers.

Miles shouldn't matter too much on these cars. As you mentioned, you looked at one that had 34k miles and looked beat. Mine has 100k on it and still smells and looks new with all dealer maintained records. I'd rather have more miles knowing it's history and cleanliness versus one with low miles with zero history and beat to *****.
