Hey guys,
I have an 06 IS350 that I picked up. I had to take out the radio and put it back in and now my dash creaks really badly. I have no idea why. I took out the AC vents and the center speaker cover to make sure those aren't the culprits but I still get creaks.
Here's a video of what I mean and at the end I push down various parts of the dash to show you which area is causing the noise
Also, is the center speaker cover supposed to have a speaker in there for a non ML/Navi equipped IS350? I thought it was odd they had that there with no speaker inside.

yup, it seems lexus didnt really get it right when they were meeting the windshields with the plastic (front and back windshield). I will be putting up a DIY in the next few days on how to fix the back windshield, and will be curious to see if kappy's advice will work with my car for the front dash.

You guys are right, the whole time I thought it was the middle portion of the dash making the creaking noise, but on the way home from work I put my head closer to it while driving and pulled back on the dash where the plastic vents meet the dash and the noise went away, and then of course I could hear the cluster rattle instead lol.
I'm trying to find some black packing foam sheets to wedge in there but haven't found any laying around my house yet, but at least now I know what the cause is.

So I found some foam and wedged in that area, it no longer makes any noise when I push down on the dash, I did however discover a new creak coming from the floorboard area, makes me wonder if that's the creak I was hearing the entire time lol. It makes noise whenever I'm driving and/or moving around in the seat.
Any known way to fix something like this?

I'm thinking I need to take out the whole glove compartment to get to that area down there and then maybe wedge something down there too so that it doesn't have as much play.
