the 2IS doesnt have that. Whenever I filled up the pressure, it went away when I drove a short distance. I wonder if OP may have a sensor malfunction

Spare doesn't have a sensor.

After 7 years, one of the sensor batteries may be dead and in need of replacement.

Doesn't have a TPMS reset button? Sure it does--to the left of the steering wheel. It's not dedicated for TPMS, it also adjusts the speedo and tach warning ring, and the AFS. Looks kinda like this:

After the tire pressures were reset/checked did you press the "Reset" button?

how come I never had to use such a button whenever I refilled my tires. Light went away once the pressure was good

You are right--once the TPMS is programed, you shouldn't need to use that button when you refill your tires. But if the OP is not seeing the light go off, it's one thing to try before spending $$ to replace the sensors.

That button is more likely to be used if you have a 2nd set of winter tires.

There's still an actual TPMS button bellow the dash on the IS, similar to the one of the GS posted above. These satellite controls allow you to toggle between two different sets of wheels with TPMS programmed

Really? My 2008 has it. It's near the fuse box underneath, you gotta almost get on your back and stick your head towards the pedals to see it

Why would you use that switch, when there's one easily accessible by the steering wheel?
