If one were to go to Lexus to have a F-Sport intake installed on an IS in California, where on the car would they place the CARB sticker? I'd be taking the 10 minutes to do the job myself, but didn't want to just slap the CARB sticker on it anywhere. Where is it supposed to go?

On top of the box itself, or on top of the shield that is over the box? The monkey at the Smog shop will likely be confused by the fancy plastic push buttons to release the shield should he need to see that sweet CARB approved sticker...

the CARB sticker needs to be anywhere on the part where it's visible to the smog tech and shows the reference number should he ever wish to search for the corresponding vehicle.

Thanks for the replies! I didn't think of it before, but in Sewell they have the install instructions for the F- Sport intake, and on the last page of the instructions it shows where to place the stickers. The "Do Not Discard" one goes on the top of the air box, while the CARB sticker goes on the underside of the hood next to the emissions information.

Yeah, I was about to say that the instructions show it installed on the RH side of the hood above the other certification label. Only the information about cleaning the filter goes onto the airbox itself.
