Default Is there actually an extreme drop kit?

So I just ordered BC Racing Coilovers 14k/12k and the salesman told me there is no such thing as an extreme drop kit. Is this true? After looking through the forums for sometime now, I've seen a lot of other members and venders selling the this kit. I just ordered them today so I just want to make sure my money doesn't go to waste.

what is the difference? so the "extreme drop kit" is just a different version of the BC's?

Yes there is it for those who want a super low stance. If your not gonna be super low the regular BCR would of been fine. Cause the difference is it has a shorter spring I think.

Hmm so the sales manager of SonicsMS told me that there's actually no extreme low even though some people and even vendors advertise it using the name. I did message the guy who posted the Craigslist ad and he did say there is one. I'm going to wait until morning and call bc racing. Thanks for the input

Because he said there's an extreme low for cars like frs and sti but bc racing never made the kit for the is250 because the standard spring size or strut was already making cars low enough. So confused at this point

In my opinion you don't need extrem drop. The regular BCR can go 23 inch fender to ground. Do you plan on riding like air bag low?

Not to start off since I'm new but I'd like to keep in mind that I wouldn't need new coilovers one day to be that low. Also, I heard the tallest height for extreme low is already kinda low. So no, not a bagged low but still pretty low I hope.

I don't think you'll need it. If your "new" to the game in regards to suspension you have no idea what it takes to be that "slammed." If you honestly think you'll one day you will be that low than I'd wait it for the extreme kit like you mentioned. Good luck

Thanks for the replies. I'm just trying to think of the long run that's why. It's like hitting two birds with one stone for a broke college student like me. Is the maximum height of the extreme drop kit that low?
