Anyone got the Blizzak LM-32's on their IS?
I am thinking of buying these snow tires for next season considering I had a terrible experience this past winter. I have had the Michelin Pilot's before and they were okay but they don't last very long. I want to switch my tires seasonally for best performance.

I've been running four WS-70 at 225/45/17 for the past 3 winters.
Currently running Michelin pilot alpins as my summer tires (long story). It's surprisingly durable but then again I only drive about 10K km a year now that I walk to work.
if you were running pilot's then the ws-70 will definitely out perform them in snow. The alpins would probably be useless in anything more than 3 inches...

Michelin Pilot WHAT?
There are ~25 Michelin Pilot tire models. Everything from near racing slick Pilot Sport Cup to Pilot Alpin "performance" winter tires.
Your profile says NJ. You need to stop looking for "performance" winter tires and start looking for straight up snow tires. Seriously. Stop it. "Performance" makes no difference in the world to you from November through February. You say you are willing to change out tires for better performance; get your performance fix in the summer and concentrate on tires that have a better chance of getting you where you are going in the winter.
With that out of the way, put these at the top of your shopping list:
Bridgestone Blizzak WS-70
Michelin X-Ice Xi3
Blizzaks have arguably the best reputation of any snow tire here in the USA.
The X-Ice was the snow tire champ of several tests last fall/winter. As a bonus the Michelin comes with a 40,000 mile treadwear warranty, so it has to last. And they don't have Pilot in the name.

Just got with a 225/45 instead of the 255/40. The diameter is approximately the same, and a narrower tire is actually beneficial in the snow.
Or you can wait until next fall when they start stocking more winter tire sizes... I bet they are just sold out of the 255/40 right now.

I run the LM60's on the staggered setup 225/45/18 and 245/40/18 and they are the best tire I've ever driven on in the winter. Lasted 3 seasons too!! My dad runs the ws70 on his car and he loves them also. Blizzaks are great tires in general and will last a considerable amount of time!
