how to remove rear lip stick with 3m tape!
#2
I'm assuming you meant rear lip instead of "rear lip stick?"
Check the inside of the bumper first to see if there are any lock nuts that need to be removed.
If not then use the heat gun or Hair dryer to heat the 3m tape and pull really hard.
**Depending on what type of lip that was installed, the bumper may have been modified/cut to fit the lip

There shouldn't be any damage to the paint if you keep the heat gun at low heat and don't keep it on one spot to long.
I usually just use my girlfriends hair dryer to heat up the 3m tape and if it doesn't come off easily with just heat, then I would use floss right after heating it and cut through the 3m tape.
Now I get the title LOL

Same here. I did this two days ago and I wish I knew about the whole heat gun procedure before doing this. Ended up using 3M adhesive remover spray and a plastic putty scraper. Took forever and a lot of energy but like 7-9 ft of tape came off completely in an hour
Oh ya, after you've taken off the rear lip using a heat gun and fishing line. If there's still residue (on your lip), you can use a adhesive remover and a towel to rub the leftover stuff off. I'm talking about the side without paint. I never tried this on a painted section.
