Default Can I fix this?

Ok. When I bought my IS back in October there were some marks on the inside of the instrument cluster cover. It drove me nuts since day one but I wasn't going to not buy it because of that (it was exactly what I wanted).

I can't really tell but it almost seems like it is getting worse. I was wondering....how much of a pain would it be to remove the cluster? I'm almost sure you need to remove the dash. And even further.......will I even be able to open it to clean it or are they sealed? I don't quite understand how this happened in the first place.

did you try cleaning with mild soap and water ?
if that didnt work the plastic cover can be gotten from dealer , and its pretty easy to remove the instrument cluster

Cluster might be a little tricky the first time to remove but afterwards it is a piece of cake. The plastic piece you are talking about can be replaced, i believe sewell sells the part for $20-$30 so its not ridic expensive either
