Does anyone know if there is a setting to automatically mute the radio whenever the navigation voice prompts come on? It’s easy to miss the prompts if I have the radio on to loud. I’ve searched the web and owner’s manual and have not been able to find anything.

Thank you for your response. I know I can increase the Nav volume but I want the radio to automatically mute whenever the navigation voice prompt comes on. It may not be possible on this car but my BMW had that option.

I don't believe there is. Seems like a weird omission since it does mute the radio when a call comes in to a paired bluetooth phone...

I have the same thing on my Acura MDX but not my IS 350. I couldn't find a setting to mute the radio for voice prompts. Seems like a design omission.

I was wondering the same thing. I had it on every car with Nav that I have owned. I think my prius does it and i know my pedestrian Altima did too!!! C'mon Lexus!!!
