P2195 code is250 2007 How to get to the bank 1 O2 sensor?
Hi guys,
P2195
Bank 1 A/F sensor
The sensor seems to be in tight spot on the passenger side. Any tricks to get to it easily?
Thanks
P.S.: I already cleared the code by disconnecting the battery, it has not come back yet (drove 15 miles) but Im thinking it will. (hopefully not)

Yes, bank 1 is the upstream (pre-cat) O2 sensor and is the passenger side bank.
For OEM parts, I'd recommend signing up with Sewell Lexus of TX using your Club Lexus account in order to get discounted pricing.
Yes, Denso or NGK are good brands of O2 sensors.
Here is a link to a 2007 IS250 upstream bank 1 O2 sensor from Sewell : http://is.sewellparts.com/accessorie...2007/5810.html
Please don't trust my quick research; please research for yourself before purchasing.

I just recently replaced my passenger side bank 1 sensor 1 Oxygen (O2) air/fuel sensor.
I went to Amazon and purchased the O2 from there (Denso 234-9051 Air Fuel Ratio Sensor):
Way cheaper compared to dealership or Auto Parts store.
Little DIY on how to replace:
Theres very little room to get to the O2. In order to get some space to remove the passenger side sensor 1 O2 sensor is to remove the car battery, remove the bottom tray and a module that is placed on bottom of the tray (I do not know what this module is for).
There is three 10mm bolts connecting the tray and about 2-4 (I forgot) connecting the module on the bottom tray of the battery.
Once the battery, the tray and module has been removed, the O2 sensor is accessible and in sight to remove.
Spray WD-40 or PB Blaster and let it soak in for awhile. Get a 22m O2 sensor socket and remove O2. Best bet is to get a breaker bar to get some leverage, this worked for me on getting it out.
Apply some anti-seize on the new O2 and install.
Thats about it, I didnt see any info on removing this particular O2 on CL or on the internet. Hopefully this is helpful to someone out there.
Note: The Code P2195 has NOT re-appeared!!
