Post How much does 115k miles Service Cost ?

Hi My name is Sebastian, and i owned the 2007 Lexus IS250

just a couple days ago i revived the mail from my lexus car dealer said that i need to get there for the 115k miles special service. Today they sent me another coupon said $25 off.

May i ask how much does the 115k Miles Service cost ?

Thank You for your time helping me !!

So it varies by dealer but I know the 60k Service at Lexus of Austin cost me almost 700 with tax. But my company paid for that I would never take it to the dealer to do the simple stuff they did.

115k service is just an oil change type of service so depending on which dealer you go to, you could pay $130 to $210.

You could always just call the dealer and ask them how much the service will cost you.

Since your vehicle is already out of warranty, try finding a very good/reputable mechanic/mechanic shop around your area. It will be much cheaper.

When you go to the dealer, you can save more money by asking them to perform specific tasks rather than the stupid "xxx k miles package service".

At 115k miles, assuming you have done all the major maintenance service not long ago such as spark plugs, coolant change, brake flush, engine filter, AC filter, rear differential oil change, you should only need oil change @115k so that would be around 134 dollars or so.

115k Is just basic oil change and check point service. You can get it done by most mechanic shops for <100 but based on all the stuff that lexus recommends, its all stuff that should be covered in a basic oil change service so you can easily leave with a $60-80 bill from a local mechanic. This is all assuming you are up to date on service. My every 5k service usually cost me around 50 bucks from my local mechanic and they do a 30 point inspection checking, tire wear, brake pads, drive shafts, and anything for leaks and tears. I trust them more than the dealership not to rip me off
