well test drove a lexus 250 is....
but after googling the car...noticed there is an issue with carbon buildup for 2010 and older....
anyone here with 2010 and newer have a problem with carbon buildup,,and also what did this cause to the car....thanks

I've had a 2010 for a few months and no issues. I'm at 43k. I'm actually going to be doing a TerraClean in a few days to clean things up. We will see how that works.

It one of those hit or miss issues. My girl gas the 250 08 we bought new. It has 97k now and not one issues with the car or carbon build up.

09 IS250.. With 90,000.... No problems here..knock on wood! I only use Sunoco or Shell fuel though!

09 is250 @ 60K and no problemos.

Alternatively i've test drove an 08 w/ 40k that had major problems even on the test drive
