Seat warmer and cooling on at same time?
Hello,
New to the boards and I just picked up a 2010 IS250 and just noticed when I got in the car tonight it seemed as the lower seat warmer is on and the seat is blowing at cold air at the same time and of course only on the drivers side! I have the setting at 3 for cold as I live in TX and it is starting to heat up. Has anyone else every had this experience as i have searched and found nothing regarding this issue. Thanks in advance for any help.

This is what I thought at first and when i left the car and got back in it it seemed cool until I turned on the car...very strange. But I could feel the cold air blowing out and it seemed rather warm in the very lower part of the back rest.

Hmmm weird. I haven't noticed this. I have noticed only the cool air blows out at the bottom cushion part of the seat and I think the heat only heats the bottom. I'm in TX as well...haven't had a reason to test out the heater yet lol

I've noticed that if the seat warmers are unplugged, the seat fan stays on. Not sure about the heat though, didn't notice it. Try unplugging the switch, spraying electrical cleaner and plug it back in?

Well it has seemed to have solved the problem itself or I was just tripping LOL. I am sure it is most likely the latter. Thanks for all the input regardless

The lower portion of the seat back heats up too when the seat warmers are on--not just the seat cushion.
