Hello, I was using my road rover unit with the common issues, however, I had to put it out and then reinstall, and now I have this issue (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hqvz...ature=youtu.be). I thought it was software, but I replaced my D2280 with the folder in this post and it was not fixed...any ideas to for look a solution?
Thanks in advance,
maguilarp
I have never seen that issue before. I doub tit has anything to do with the D2280 folder. Even without that, the climate controls and whatnot should still work correctly. I had completely messed up my unit and I could still use the climate controls and CD changer (but without the screen working).
I would remove the unit and make sure everything is plugged in correctly and that nothing else in the area got bumped loose.
If that doesn't fix it, reinstall your factory head unit and see if the problem persists.

Well, I reconnect my factory module and the problem was not fixed...at the moment I'm still looking the problem.
So I've also been reading that the bluetooth sound quality is terrible.
I just want to throw in the idea of replacing the bluetooth module inside the device...
As in desoldering the bluetooth board, and putting in a new module.
Has anyone tried this? erm... that you know of at least?

Definitely a possibility. I haven't taken the unit apart, but I imagine they have used something fairly generic. But it doesn't bug me enough to rip everything apart.
Ipod loading is slow, faster if you pause the song.
24 time - Anybody figured out how to change it to 12hr time?
No problem.
My current issues are:
-My clock adjusts itself by an hour randomly. (as well as the 24 hour instead of 12 hour)
-When my lights are on and I adjust the temperature, it adjusts the screen brightness.
-My USB flash drive doesn't load fast enough, so it loses the settings sometimes when I start the car. (thinking a faster USB flash drive may solve this.)
