Default looking to buy a is350 need some input

hey guys just joined the forum, iv been looking for a is350 and i came across one at a local shop near me, its within my budget right now at 17,500. She has 90,000 mile on her. i know its a lott of miles but it is fully loaded with the lexus exhaust, sport suspension, nav, its the x package. its a dark blue color looks real clean.
I'm waiting on my fj to sell but I'm so tempted to just trade my ride in and scoop it up, the owner/salesman said he could do the trade and 1,500 bones.
what do you guys think. wait it out for something with less miles ? or go for it?
thanks for any input.

Depends on the year, got mine, super clean, one owner, every option but ML, radar cruise and spoiler for 13.5K and 99K miles... It's an 06. Other options I had for similarly equipped cars, 16.6K, 07, 83K miles, and an 08, 60K miles for 17,750...

Pass on it. Be patient. If you can try getting an APPROVED loan from either your bank or credit union.CU in my experience has been better at % rates. Anyhow this way will offer you more flexibility by being able to shop from private parties and not just be stuck with dealerships. Good luck.

a quick search on autotrader for blue is350 under 75k miles in Florida:

2008 is350 - 63k miles - $16,500 - in Florida
http://m.autotrader.com/cars-for-sal...earchType=both

2006 is350 - 55k miles - $15,000 - in Florida

IS350 are built strong! Even if it has high mileage, I'd take it. No major carbon build ups in the engine like the 250s. Make sure the car is not abused first! Goodluck

I bought my IS350 @ 84k miles, now it is sitting around 93k miles. I have been racing with this car in autocross/track, went through the whole set of tires due to aggressive driving and she is still holding strong. I do crazy maintenance on her though.

I would expect it to last 200k miles or more easily with proper maintenance.

The car will be very reliable and also fun to drive, and easy to maintain. Take a look at this thread about what miles other members have on their cars and some of their opinions https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...r-numbers.html

The price you have on that deal is not good. You should check autotrader as some has mentioned and you will see better price.

I got 115k miles on my 08 and the tranny feels literally like new. Just make sure you get the 350 or F, not the 250 The 250 is a bit slow (I got used to it) but trust me the 350 is a great car but IMO will need one or two critical mods to make it a safer, longer lasting, funner car to drive. Immediately buy aftermarket front and rear sway bars from either F-Sport (everyone gets it) or if you have extra money to spend get Cusco as they are the stiffest. Get that, and then get a quality but not bank breaking set of coilovers when you feel the stock shocks have spent their life. I suggest BCR or Fortune Auto. I'd go with Fortune but that's me. Cheers
