Unlikely. I'd buy the tune from SARD (or Novel if they ever release it) before I'd buy anything. It is the only tune capable of permanently altering the OEM maps.

I asked vivid about the gains on a 250, and if it works on boosted IS... they basically just said "huge gains! we'll give it to you for $600". i know they havent tested on a boosted car, I'm already lean in upper RPM's... theyre just salesmen it seems.

EDIT: THey just told me now it doesnt work on boosted cars. Also, theyre IS250 dyno shows WHP at 157whp AFTER the flash. Their dyno numbers are way off.... Buyer beware for sure.

At a car show last year a 250 with only a catback put down 183whp thats definitely off.

Yeah on a very conservative dyno i think i made 187whp when i only had intake, headers and true dual exhaust. Vivid clearly doesnt know what theyre doing...

That sounds more promising, cause my local Dyno tuner here in Tucson EsTuned said that an IS250 with proper headers and full exhaust and intake it should be close to 200hp and with this chip it should be around 210-225hp but no idea where the hell they got 157 from

They are using Mustang dyno which reads lower than dynojet, dynapack.

With all the years on the forum, I have NEVER seen dyno numbers that low. I used a dynojet with 4000lb rollers and still hit 183whp as stated above. THAT is from a conservative dyno. 150's is absurd... Because they're is350 numbers were bloated above average too.

2006 IS250 dyno on a dynojet (stock).

162WHP

So 157WHP isn't that far off on a Mustang dyno with the tune considering it only yields ~15whp.
