I am interested, but would want more reviews on this. I have not driven my IS350 in over 4 months. Maybe this will spark some interest in me driving the car more.

So if you have an is350 with Intake, PPE headers, and full exhaust... and you add this device you might be able to get more than 25HP and 40TQ. Maybe this device can detect the current mods on the car make more power?

Pretty cool.

All that money spent and they could have just bought an IS-F.

Now all we need are more folks jumping on this and get their dyno before and afters. Maybe I'll ask for one for Christmas? Hmmmmm.

Well with just headers the car respectively makes an extra 12-14HP full exhaust and intake maybe another 5HP so with this chip you should be close to 42-44HP gains its not ridiculous and its very expensive to get there I mean headers+exhaust+intake= $1200-2000 depending on what good deals you find + VR chip $700 so a total of $1900-2700 for 40+HP thats an expensive gain but it sure beats $8k from ARMA and their 100hp gains supercharger

Mind you all that I'm a novice when it comes to cars but after 6 years of driving this I can definitely 'feel' a difference and the Dyno put to rest that it just may be a placebo effect.
It works. As vividracing mentions I've only got a week on it. Let's just say it doesn't help fuel milage as I've been punching around town constantly. It's more than throttle control, which I looked at years ago, it's as they say 'mapping' a better route than the original timing/restrictions placed on the 2GR-FSE engine. I don't hear that giving up, when it seems it could do more, at the high RPM's as I did. It's just more fun.
I plan on having it at Hot Import Nights Nov. 22nd at Phx Conv. Center. I'm lucky to have vivid in my backyard.
