eBay / Spec D Tuning LED DRL Headlights vs Stock OEM
So before I purchased my Spec D Tuning LED DRL Aftermarket Headlights from eBay I was looking all over the place for this type of picture and I couldn't find it. Then BAM .... I am coming back from grabbing lunch this afternoon and what do I find parked next to my ride (black one) a red is250c with the stock leds ..... I think they are pretty similar ..... please feel free to leave your hateful comments below.
I know the light output is most likely not as good in the Ebay versions but we have the 06 HID lights. Is there a way we can use the Ebay ones and put HID's in them from what we have? We dont really have the money to buy OEM ones that are similar to the Ebay ones
saw your car at the service dealer one day. Do the ebay headlights show AFS warning ?
In Englewood NJ? Yeah that was me, I was getting the carbon buildup fixed .... she is running like new now
Dont worry there are no warning lights with the ebay leds .... but keep in mind my ride is bare bone stock ....

Yeah the OEMs do look better .... but not $2,000 better ..... And I installed an addition HID Kit on top of the ebay house so she is SUPER BRIGHT at night.
After going back and forth I went with OEM 2012s. I like the look of the DRL better on OEM.
I know..... I want the OEM's bad ... but I am waiting to either get lucky and find a cheap pair or finshing modding my ride and save the 2k LED DRLs for last......

the led strip looks completely different.
as well, what matters the most is how it looks when it's ON
yeah the LED strip breaks away when lit vs how OEM is solid. nonetheless it doesn't look bad in comparison. The strip itself is much bigger but I do like how the housing is a darker black. regardless I wouldnt choose it over OEM bc of the LED strip difference + reliability issues overtime as proven by those that have defected ones thus far. But maybe overtime that'll give the manufacturers to improve these as well.
