Default GPS not working , Nav needs calibration every day

Hi ,

I have fixed my IS350 Touch screen by my self and everything went smooth, did not damage any wires or any thing . and I am very sure that I have plugged every cable back .

My GPS is not working , I reset the car battery & still not working . I don't really know if there is a way to turn it back on because my map cd is old and there are new roads missing and once i drive on them the car would loose the position , then I have to re calibrate .

So I lost my GPS just because I fixed the touch screen ?

Look for the word "GPS" under the map scale indicator in the upper left corner of the screen. It indicates that the unit is locked onto the GPS sats; without a lock it simply calculates your position on roads based on speed and steering wheel angle. My guess is that the GPS antenna isn't connected properly, either because it isn't plugged in, or because you damaged something.

Got similar issue before, dealer found a loose wire, seem to be a common problem.
