Hi Guys,

I have an 06 IS 250 AWD. I live in Detroit, and after last year's brutal winter, I'm thinking about getting a remote start system installed. What modules/systems have people used with success. I'd like to avoid having to turn off my car and restart it when I get into the car. Multiple posts on here have mentioned that they have no issues with their current setups, and I'd like to hear more of what has worked for people.

I used to work for Circuit City install bay, so I'm familiar with wiring these system but I don't have a garage or tools to work on it. Feel free to explain which modules worked and how you set em up if you wired it yourself.

Also, on the off chance somebody lives in the Detroit area and knows a good shop for getting electronics install, please let me know.

Sorry if this is irrelevant to the forum, but I'd like to ask if it's safe for me to install the remote starter. Should I have any concerns for the future? I'm going to a reputable place that's done them for years.

I installed mine myself and have no issues. Make sure the shop is not charging an arm and half a leg :/
