Yes. There have been several threads about this. Apparently they don't have a solution for it yet. Once they do I'm sure they'll send out letters

I've never owned a car with so many recalls. That's being said she's never left us stranded.

^Same here; however, as long as I'm not paying for anything AND am getting a free loaner Lexus from the local dealership, I'm a happy camper! My IS350 to-date is still my favorite overall car I've owned; not the fastest, best MPGs, or the most fun to drive...but BEST OVERALL hands down.

So the problem all of these recalls they have including my is250 engine overhaul is that they don't actually fix the problem they just renew it. So you will eventually have the same issue again a long ways down the road. It would be nice if they actually resolved the issue perm.

That is why I own 2 Lexus IS

Do you know the date they start sending out letter yet? My local dealership said they don't have the tools and parts to do the recall yet.

^I don't recall seeing any member posting that they had received the letter...yet. Like most dealerships, they're waiting on Corp to retain the needed parts and procedures for the recall.

I have heard about it but like others just waiting for lexus to send letters stating they have a fix for it as dealers will not take cars right now.
